What is the story of PappaRoti? 

PappaRoti is a highly successful restaurant and café chain with more than +310 branches all over the world that originated in Malaysia. with unique product coffee buns which are made from flour, butter, and yeast and served warm with a caramelized crust. The inside of the bun is soft and fluffy, while the sweet and crunchy topping adds flavor with (chocolate or cheese or any favorite topping). in 2019, They expanded their business in Egypt, a country with diverse culture and delicious local delicacies. the opening of their first outlet in Cairo has resulted in an influx of customers eager to experience the unique flavors they offer. The company aims to break into the Egyptian market, ensure customer loyalty and create a brand presence that stands out from its competitors.

The goal was to increase brand awareness with PappaRoti buns. attract new customers to the cafe and generate more revenue with leads. The ultimate goal was to drive up profits in order to establish four additional branches for the PappaRoti Egypt marketing campaign in Alexandria, Egypt.

To begin the process, I began by selecting social media platforms they wanted to target, while also creating innovative approaches that would intrigue customers. Knowing that prospective customers enjoyed visual content more than text-heavy advertisements, I started to hire influencers to promote the product across multiple channels. Moreover, these chosen influencers had active follower bases that nurtured the relationship between brands and customers through creative storytelling rather than traditional marketing strategies.

On Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok sponsored posts (Post1Post2Post3Post4Post5Post6Post7Post8Post9Post10) were placed strategically between visuals relating to food trends along with other interesting content posted regularly. highlighting upcoming events featuring their products or discounts/sales that could be used at stores when purchasing items from them – thus offering potential customers greater opportunities for savings when shopping at their store! To further stand out from competitors within the food industry in Egypt – PappaRoti consistently cares use of features such as unique service friendly staff and an amazing atmosphere.

Results & ROI

The efforts resulted in an impressive overall return on investment (ROI), as witnessed by increases across key metrics such as platforms traffic, followers/fans count, and impressions/views, and then our goal was greater to focus on sales and this is what we were able to achieve within a year with a return on investment in marketing of more than 5 million EGP. etc. Furthermore, due to the increased engagement rate among their customers, they opened four other branches in Egypt within 20 months of launching their initial campaigns. As such there was greater brand awareness built around PappaRoti’s products & services increasing its presence & allowing franchisees to open additional outlets – this allowed them several positive returns given the starting investment made into their social media marketing strategy combined with an ability for PappaRoti’s management team to make sound decisions leading to its success.
